مجھے دنیا کی چیزوں میں سے عورت اور خوشبو پسند ہے اور میری آنکھ کی ٹھنڈک نماز میں رکھ دی گئی ہے۔ اس سے ثابت ہوتا ہے کہ عورت سے بیزاری اور نفرت کوئی زہد وتقویٰ کی دلیل نہیں ہے، انسان خدا کا محبوب اس وقت ہوسکتاہے جب وہ اللہ کی تمام نعمتوں کی قدر کرے جن سے اس نے اپنے بندوں کو نوازا ہے، اس کی نظامت اور جمال کا متمنی ہو اور عورتوں سے صحیح ومناسب طریقے سے پیش آنے والا ہو۔ یہی وجہ ہے کہ مرد اور عورت دونوں کے لیے نکاح کو لازم قرار دیا گیا ہے، اس سلسلے میں آپ کا ارشاد ہے: النکاحُ من سنتی فمن رغب عن سنتی فلیس منی(۹) نکاح میری سنت ہے جس نے میری سنت سے روگردانی کی اس کا مجھ سے کوئی تعلق نہیں۔(۱۰) چنانچہ ایک عورت بیوی کی حیثیت سے اپنے شوہر کے گھر کی ملکہ ہے اور اس کے بچوں کی معلم ومربی ہے۔ قرآن کریم میں ارشاد ہے : ہن لباس لکم وانتم لباس لہن (البقرہ: ۱۸۷) عورتیں تمہارا لباس ہیں اور تم ان کا ۔ یعنی کہ تم دونوں کی شخصیت ایک دوسرے سے ہی مکمل ہوتی ہے۔ تم ان کے لیے باعثِ حسن وآرائش ہو تو وہ تمہارے لیے زینت وزیبائش غرض دونوں کی زندگی میں بہت سے تشنہ پہلو ہوتے ہیں جو کہ ایک دوسرے کے بغیر پایہٴ تکمیل تک نہیں پہنچتے۔(۱۱)

Translation

I love woman and fragrance among the things of the world and the coolness of my eye is placed in prayer.  This proves that disgust and hatred of women is not an argument for asceticism and piety, a person can be beloved of God when he appreciates all the blessings of God with which He has blessed His servants, His order and beauty.  Be desirous of and treat women properly.  This is the reason why marriage has been made obligatory for both men and women. In this regard, you have said: Al-Nikah Man Sunna Famin Al-Rughb An Sunna Falis Muni (9) Marriage is my Sunnah, whoever turned away from my Sunnah.  (10) So a woman as a wife is the queen of her husband's house and the teacher and mentor of his children.  It is said in the Holy Qur'an: Women are your clothes and you are their clothes (al-Baqarah: 187).  It means that the personality of both of you is completed by each other.  You are a source of beauty and beauty for them, and they are a source of beauty and adornment for you. There are many thirsty aspects in the life of both of them, which do not reach completion without each other. (11)
